IndieX Film Festival 2020 Annual Awards Ceremony: Michael Schilf wins Best Crime Short and Best Director

The 2020 IndieX Film Festival Annual Awards Ceremony was held in the Chaplin Theater at Raleigh Studios Hollywood on January 15, 2022. (Due to Covid, the Annual Awards ceremony was postponed for over a year).

The Fixer was nominated for Best Crime Short (producers Michael Schilf, Chase Kuker, and Ryan Wood) and Best First Time Director (Michael Schilf), winning in both categories.

The Annual Award nominees and winners were shortlisted from the pool of 12 (bimonthly and later monthly) rounds, between May 2019 and November 2020, chosen from over 3,300 submissions from 71 countries overall.
