Vegas Movie Awards™ (VMA) welcomes Michael Schilf as a new esteemed member of their Advisory Board.

”We chose Michael not only because he is a talented award-winning writer, director, and producer,” explains VMA.

“We believe he is a rare human being with a noble soul, in an industry that is sometimes way too cynical. We have always felt a strong connection with Michael, and a great desire to join forces to give filmmakers out of the ordinary attention and care.”

A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Schilf is a Professor of English and Media Arts, with nearly twenty years of experience teaching composition, argumentation, literature, screenwriting, advanced screenwriting, and motion picture film analysis.

Schilf’s acclaimed crime, thriller The Fixer, starring Jesse C. Boyd and Danny Trejo, has earned 81 international wins and 33 nominations.

Schilf continues to mentor former students, many of whom have become successful writers and commercial/film directors, both domestic and abroad.
