Filmmaker Michael Schilf’s award-winning short The Fixer was an Official Selection at the Košice International Monthly Film Festival in Slovakia, winning is three categories: Winner Best Production, Winner Best First-Time Director (Short), and Honorable Mention Best Drama.

The Fixer is a crime, action, thriller that follows the story of Jack Cross (Jesse C. Boyd), an extorted Mafia enforcer who must partner with the femme fatale hired gun (Veronica Diaz Carranza) who murdered his wife in order to save his daughter and liberate himself from a sadistic L.A. crime boss.

Starring Jesse C. Boyd, Veronica Diaz Carranza, Vincent van Hinte, and Danny Trejo.
